    Freya

Designed by Ed Monk Sr., and built in 1940 for the president of Tacoma Boatbuilding Co. to provide safe, efficient and seaworthy transportation for his family, Freya has made twelve trips to Alaska.  She carries 200 gallons of fuel and 90 gallons of Water, and was recently repowered with a diesel engine.

Built to be strong, efficient and seaworthy, Freya has cruised Puget Sound and the Inside Passage since 1940. An Alaska veteran, (11 times) she has provided the families that loved her with adventures, life time experiences, scarred knuckles, and pride. Freya has been part of the current owner's family since 1985: and still going strong.
