Absolute was originally Galpo. Built for Bayard Sharp of the Dupont Dynasty. Built with a hull similar to a PT boat, Absolute is fast for her size and accommodation at 24 knots. Trumpys were built in Annapolis, Maryland, and were only afforded by the very wealthy. They were coastal cruisers, not passage makers. "Absolute" is a flush deck cruiser.
