Historical Summary:
Ananda was built by Peter Hansen in Everett and launched in 1932.
Per PO: I purchased the vessel from Tim Wade in Everett, Washington. Prior to that she was owned by the Chapmans and prior to that by the builder. I have owned her for 3 years and cruised extensively on her throughout the Salish Sea. Last season I traveled 1200NM on her and spent 70 nights aboard. Ananda is a seaworthy, dependable, comfortable yacht.
Accommodations: Ananda has a forward stateroom with two berths that can be filled and expand to a queen size. The Isuzu diesel engine is below the sole in the wheelhouse. She carries 90 gallons of fuel and gets 1.7 NM per liter at cruising speed. She has an autopilot with remote. Lofrans windlass with 200’ of chain. Webasto diesel forced air heat. Ananda has a propane stove/oven, sink and storage in the galley. Behind the galley is a dining settee that converts into a double berth. Aft is an open cockpit.
