Historical Summary:
BLUE GOOSE was considered quite opulent, having gold plated hardware.
In the photo, BLUE GOOSE parades in one of the last grand parades of the -then unspoiled by development- Inner Harbor near Port Ludlow during one of the final Land Air Sea Rendezvous before the launching of the now famous Bell Street Rendezvous.
In the 1990’s, Blue Goose suffered from some bad planking that led to her being dry-stored for a long period. For the last decade she has been in Australia, where she underwent a MAJOR modification this year (2018). Her deckhouse was completely removed and the vessel was remade as a day-cruiser.
Per her current owner (November 2018):
The superstructure did not go well in our humid environment so we had no choice but to strip it back to an open day boat.
The result is the perfect harbour cruiser.
