This yacht has been accepted and is currently registered as a Classic vessel with the Classic Yacht Asssociation.

Wartime Use:

Served as a Coast Guard Patrol Vessel, as CG-68006, in WWII for 26 months. Upon return to the former owner, Carmelita had been really beaten-up, so he sued the USA and won $50,000 in 1946. The money was spent at Anchor Jensen’s yard, rebuilding, repowering, and refinishing.
