Historical Summary:
The third hull in this series, Fandango was built by Chris-Craft in 1947. Mahogany was in short supply right after World War II, so the hull was constructed with quality fir. The original owner was twice the commodore of the Seattle Yacht Club, and this was the lead boat in the Opening Day parades in 1947 and 1948. Chris-Craft built over 500 boats of this design, with level deck and cabin areas, and no stateroom or V berth. She was repowered with a 327 engine in the early 1970’s.
