Isswat was built in 1948 in Whiskey Cove, on Pennock Island just across the water from Ketchikan, Alaska. She spent most of her life as a hand troller in the waters of Southeast Alaska, but was brought down to Seattle around 1970. Since then she has fished and worked as a yard tug over the years. Isswat is currently in a 3 year restoration process to get here back to her former glory.
