Itineras

Historical Summary:

Constructed in Algonac, Michigan by Chris-Craft Corporation for Rex Marine Center, certified by Eugene Sabin, Master Carpenter for Chris-Craft. Alvin H. Levy purchased the vessel and had her documented with the USCG, named "Re Ality" and moored in NYC.

Previous owners extensively cruised New England, and after being transported to Seattle in 1979, throughout the Pacific Northwest to include at least five Alaskan excursions. Over the years, the vessel has gone by a handful of different names, and along with a tasteful and extensive refit by owners Mike Schultz and Steven Sanford, she was renamed Itineras. In July 2013, Mike and Steve were married on Itineras' foredeck while anchored in Liberty Bay at Poulsbo, WA. Additionally during Mike and Steve's tenure, Itineras regularly participated in numerous events with the CYA and the Olympic Yacht Club, notably serving as committee boat for the weekly Duck Dodge sailing regatta on Lake Union.

The current custodian has had responsibility of Itineras since early 2022. While Itineras continues to undergo deliberate and methodical repairs, maintenance, and modernization, her custodian happily lives aboard full-time with his canine companion.
