Historical Summary:
LITTLE SHEPARD has been a well know member of two yacht clubs both here in Seattle & Tacoma for most of her life. This is a very original example of this distinctive design built on the south shore of the Salmon Bay waterway by the legendary Morris Shain. The yard transitioned into the Marco Yard best known for commercial fishing vessels, after a long career building pleasure boats, yachts and military patrol vessels during WWII. The distinctive transom design and tear drop port-lights, along with the curved transom, make these boats unmistakable profiles. Exterior chroming of the fittings complete, some topsides finishing remain. The single Chrysler Royal straight eight is original making this a potential for a true one of a kind classification among classic boat enthusiasts.
