In 1934, Ed Monk designed and built NAN, his Plan No. 1 – a boat he would in the next five years live and work in, along with his wife and daughters. It was NAN’s study, that Monk started his unique 36 years career as independent designer of boats from. Here, he produced more than 3,000 drafts and layouts for his yachts.
