North Star was built in Stockton California in 1958 and made her way to Seattle in the 70s. Since then she has been a fixture in the Seattle yachting scene, attracting admirers all up and down the Puget Sound, San Juan and Gulf Islands and all the way up to Princess Louisa Inlet! The gas dock in Lake Union shares a name with her.
