Scandalon is serial No. 2 of 33, a Double Cabin Fly Bridge Cruiser built by Chris Craft in 1953. She was delivered to Bryant's Marina in early 1953 with all options, including the Deluxe Sundeck. The original owner lived on Mercer Island and sold the boat in 1962 to to Roy Briten of Evergreen Point (Lake Washington) who owned her for 22 years. In 1965, she was repowered with Chrysler 413 E's and 2.57:1 Borg Warner transmissions, all of which are still in the boat with over 4000 hours on them. The rest of the boat has been almost completely restored by the current owners over the past 15 years with the intent on keeping her as original as possible.
