Re-powered with 200 horse straight six Yanmar with 168 hours. Cruises at about 8 knots at 2000 rpm and 2 gallons/hour. A pair of new 100 gallon tanks gives Tabu a cruising range of about 700+ miles.

Hull Const:

Wedge seamed 13/16" yellow cedar on steam bent oak and sawn frames on 9" centers. Pattern: 2 steam bent, 1 sawn, 2 steam bent...etc. Plywood decks under fiberglass. House is plywood.
