Vessel was commissioned in 1959 by a Hollywood movie producer. She splashed in 1960 under the name Tyee. After the death of the original owner, the heirs let her fall into disrepair.

She was rediscovered in 2002 in San Diego by a Gig Harbor enthusiast, and brought to Port Townsend for complete restoration. Galmukoff Marine restored her from the stern up, essentially crafting a new boat. She was once again splashed in 2005, under the name Kristi Lynn.

In 2010, the owner let her go and I acquired her, renaming her the original Tyee. We still have original paperwork and letters from Marco on this boat.
