This yacht has been accepted and is currently registered as a Classic vessel with the Classic Yacht Asssociation.
Wanderer was squashed by the Bowen Island Ferry in BC in 1993. She was extensively rebuilt subsequent to the accident (the ferry captain was allegedly watching the Stanley Cup final on the TV at the time...) She was treated to a Gardner diesel engine by the current long-term owner.
