Built in 1939 in Port Clinton, Ohio, this boat retains her original name. This very boat was on display at the big 1940 New York Boat Show. She was sold in 1963 to a Boeing executive who transported the vessel by train to the Pacific Northwest. All house windows slide down into the walls, and bug screens slide up. Pied Piper is constructed of oak and mahogany, with a nifty gutter and downspout system that directs rain water off the roof and directly overboard. She is still powered by her original 1939 twin Chrysler Royal flat-head straight 8 gasoline engines. [BH16]
