DeAnza was delivered 3rd March 1954 to Colin Fitzgerald of North Vancouver. She has always been in the English Bay area cruising the Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands, Desolation Sound and the Broughtons. DeAnza served as a committee boat at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club for a time and still has the RVYC bell on board. Ownership from Colin Fitzgerald to Al Cumiford in 1975 is unknown, but we keep looking! Al sold the boat to Michael Manchon and Tracy Nisbet in 2008. During that time she has undergone a substantial refit.
